24 hours in Florence

To see Florence, beautiful ancient city with real Italic atmosphere was always my dream. Not only because I wanted to see all monuments and famous & beautiful rooftops of this city, but also, because I’m addicted to shoes.

As you may know, Florence is the home for many iconic shoe brands and a lot of companies are making shoes traditional way, handmade and from the highest quality materials, here until today. To name a few, Florence is home of Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci or Aquazzura.

When I started with traveling, I used to plan everything. I had a time schedule for every day, every hour. In fact, it was pretty commitmenting and stressful as I never get it.  Today, I prefer just to walk and discover city. I usually have only some main points on my list I wish to visit and all other places I go are random. To be honest, I love it. In fact, you will lost many times, but it’s the most beautiful thing about it. I can guarantee you, that by this way you will find amazing and unexpected places, caffeés and you will meet residents.

This time, when I walked through Florence I found some really nice shops. In historical streets around city center, there were many antiques and vintage shops. Especially, when you love luxury vintage, you will love it there! But to be honest, even there was a wide choice of vintage pieces, I bought my vintage piece I love (by the way, for much less) in city of Ravenna.

Only what I really wanted to see in Florence were museums of Salvatore Ferragamo and Gucci. Unfortunatelly, Gucci Museo is temporary closed, so I visited at least really nice exhibition called “Return to Italy” in Salvatore Ferragamo Museo, which I highly recommend. You can visit this exhibition until May 2nd 2018 and you will find all other information here.
